How do we create value?

In order for you, the customer, to do business with ELSE Inc., we have to be able to answer the above question.

We create value for you in several key ways.

It starts by saving our customers time. To create a really good presentations takes time and effort, they do not just come about in a matter of hours.

• First we have spent literally thousands of hours learning Lean. For you to gain enough knowledge to put together your own training materials would require a similar effort on your part.

• Add to that the 20 to 30 years of work experience every member of our team has. Over all that time we have seen and dealt with just about every type of problem there is to face in a variety of different industries, so we know that the solutions will work if applied.

• Then we have taken all that knowledge and experience, selected the most useful parts from a variety of sources, and arranged them in the most practical manner possible.

• If we stopped there, it still would not be enough, next we had to put much of that into simpler language that anyone with no previous Lean training could understand.

• To really make our materials stand out we had to add pictures and other images to reinforce the words. Pictures are truly worth a thousand words or more.

• Through hundreds of hours of presentation design and rewrites we built our current selection of available presentations. We took every aspect very seriously, even such seemingly simple things as the templates we use.

• However, as we all know, life does not stand still, things change, so over time we constantly review our materials and regularly make changes to them to make them better. At ELSE Inc. Continuous Improvement is not a buzz word, but a way of life.

Getting to this point made our presentations a good value for teaching the basics of Lean, but teaching a theory is just not enough. So we took on the challenge of the next step which was the design of the simulations to support the theory with application. After all, our experience has taught all of us that theory alone is never enough.

• One by one we designed our simulations using the simplest resources possible.

• We focused the simulation on just teaching what the associated presentation taught; trying to mix different topics together just creates confusion.

•  We followed that with carefully testing and redeveloping each several times before we ever introduced them to a single customer.

• After limited trials and further re-evaluation we put each tested final simulation in the marketplace.

Getting to this point alone would make ELSE Inc. a great value, but we have done even more. We supply additional information on our Implement Lean manufacturing website for free, to help you even more. Additionally we have designed a few tools and resources to help out in critical areas of the Lean Implementation.

But we at ELSE Inc. are still not done: we are adding even more. We have recently committed ourselves to providing training services for many of the small to medium sized firms or plants that do not have the resources to hire their own in-house training teams. We are capable of delivering this training in two ways. One, it can be done Live In Person, with an ELSE Inc trainer on site first delivering the training presentations, followed by the trainer reinforcing the presentation by supervising the simulations. The second option is to have an ELSE Inc. trainer deliver the presentations via a web cast, and then you follow up by performing the simulations on your own. In either case your organization will benefit from the experience our trainers bring to the sessions.
