We'd like to invite you on a journey where we learn by playing a lean Lego game.
We have revised and updated our One Piece Flow Game again. The presentation slides come with footnotes and we have included a printable trainer's guide book as well. We have improved the step-by-step instructions for playing the game, thus allowing you to improve your training session results.
Below is a representative sample of the slides in the presentation.
Due to them being a gif image their quality is far lower than the real presentation slides.

The game is designed for groups of 6-8 people. If you have more players, just buy more Mega Bloks (micro blocks) or Lego pieces and use the same instructions. It can be seen as a competition between teams.
The story of the Space Robotics Corporation
The Space Robotics Corporation is in the robot business. They make agile robots, appreciated all over the world. Last week they negotiated a large contract and now they have to deliver 25 robots each day.
They have a problem though as the maximum number they ever produced in one day was 10.
How are they going to deliver the promise?
Let’s look at their current operations.
Space Robotics uses an MRP system with quarterly sales forecast. Every week schedules are sent to Operation 20 and 40. Daily they make adjustments, if necessary.
The customers send their orders daily and the shipping department ships around 10 boats each day.
The main supplier is Robotic Supplies Company, 30 miles away. Weekly they receive purchase orders for the week ahead and monthly they get a forecast.
The deliveries to Space Robotics come once a week.
Customer Requirements = 25 robots/day (current 10)
The plant operates 5 days a week, 240 days of the year, on a one-shift basis of 8 hours with a 20-minute lunch break and two 5-minute coffee breaks.
Plant Effectiveness = 85%
